We’re surrounded by buildings so much so we hardly notice them, particularly the finer detail.
The title is a reference to having OCD traits and a wish for symmetry and perfection and the struggle to tolerate when things don’t necessarily sit in harmony with each other.

I often title images with whatever first comes to mind and in this instance the album cover of King Crimsons, In The Wake Of Poseidon. One of my all time favourite bands.

The title is a reference to being 'open to all possibilities and experiences' as well as referencing the netting within the image

I feel as though I could be looking down on the Earth from the International Space Station. The outline of land mass can be seen, as well as the twinkling lights from cities, towns and boats in the harbour.
It is in fact the rusty roof of a car.

I could of easily called this image, train of thought, because that’s exactly what happened and how I ended up with the title.
My initial thought was of a bunch of flowers, which led to Bouquet and then romance as flowers are often given as a term of love and how often you see (unimaginative);) men on Valentines Day carrying a single Rose or bunch of, and finally the album of the same title ‘The Flowers of Romance by PIL (Public Image Limited)

The Blood Red Game is a book by the Science Fiction writer, Michael Moorcock. I remember reading it back in the early 70's when it came out. Can't recall the story but have a vague recollection of the book cover, a man walking down a path against the backdrop of a 'Blood' red sky full of eyes.
The power of the unconscious to connect a memory from the past, to something I'm looking at in the present.
I was thinking what would early artist sketches look like? We’ve seen cave drawings and they are very simplistic, so presumably an early portrait would be similar, without much detail?
Equally this also reminds me of a Francis Bacon image in the making.
The beauty of abstract images is they can be whatever your mind wants and allows. Indeed it encourages the minds expression.
